Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers may soon be going their separate ways.
As ESPN reports, there were talks between the Packers and the New York Jets on Tuesday about a possible change of the four-time MVP. Rodgers was drafted by Green Bay in 2005, and in 2010 the now 39-year-old led the franchise to its fourth Super Bowl.
Rodgers missed the playoffs with the Packers last season and then left it open how things will continue for him. For several days after the Super Bowl, Rodgers pondered his future alone and in complete darkness. His contract in Green Bay officially runs until the end of the 2026/27 season.
