After cryptic posts on social media, the police went to Ja Morant and checked on the controversial NBA basketball star.
The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office in Tennessee later announced, according to the TV station ESPN All clear, the Memphis Grizzlies player is fine.
Morant had recently appeared twice in public with a gun, after the first incident the Grizzlies and the professional league NBA banned him. It is still unclear what the consequences of his second misstep will be.
“I love you Ma”, “I love you Pops” and “You are the dearest little girl, I love you,” Morant posted on Instagram, followed by a “Bye”. Apparently the police were informed afterwards.
