Mikel Arteta is fully focused on Arsenal these days despite rumors circulating that he could succeed Carlo Ancelotti at Real Madrid.
Speaking at the press conference ahead of the Europa League game against Sporting CP, the Spaniard said: “The thing is that coaches and players can’t control what’s written. What I can say is that I’m fully focused on what I’m doing here. And I’m extremely proud and grateful for what I’m doing at this club. And that’s all.”
Christopher Galtier
PSG coaches have had a relatively short stint in Paris lately. After leaving the Champions League against FC Bayern, Christophe Galtier is now on the brink after less than a year in office.
But the coach is initially covered: “My future? It’s really too early to talk about it. It depends on the management and my president. And there is disappointment.”
Galtier also said: “The club had high hopes in this competition. I remain focused on the end of this season.” PSG led Ligue 1 by eight points over Marseille but are already eliminated in the cup.

Vlachodimos has been playing for Benfica since 2018 and was previously active at Panathinaikos Athens. The Greek originally came from the youth team at VfB Stuttgart.
Diogo Dalot

Thomas Meunier
Thomas Meunier, who apparently no longer plays a role at BVB, is said to be loud Mundo Deportivo be one of three – rather unrealistic – options for FC Barcelona’s right-back position.
Meunier still has a contract until 2024, but has not played a game for BVB since the World Cup and after recovering from a torn muscle fiber. A departure seems therefore quite conceivable. However, FC Barcelona may not be allowed to make any transfers this summer, which complicates matters.

Jürgen Klinsmann is tackling his new challenge as coach of the South Korean national team with an old friend. The Austrian Andreas Herzog will be the former national coach’s assistant.
Herzog confirmed this on Instagram. “I’m really looking forward to the exciting task and working with Jürgen Klinsmann again,” said Herzog Sky Sports Austria. The 54-year-old will continue to work there as a TV expert.
