Media mogul Silvio Berlusconi apparently wants to sell a minority stake in AC Monza, according to media reports.
Berlusconi has already commissioned international investment banks to look for interested parties, and potential investors are said to come from the Middle East.
With a new partner, Monza wants to strengthen the squad. Founded 110 years ago, the football club has experienced a sporting boom since it was taken over by ex-Milan owner Berlusconi and rose from the 4th division to Serie A.
The Lombard first division club is currently 11th in the Serie A table with 29 points. Berlusconi’s goal is to take Monza to the Champions League.
