Luis Enrique is according to information from SPOX and GOAL the top candidate to succeed Christophe Galtier as Paris Saint-Germain coach.
Galtier is in charge of PSG in his first season and is heading towards the championship again with the club in Ligue 1. Nevertheless, those responsible for the club are not satisfied with the coach’s work and are aiming for a separation after the season.
Above all, the coach is accused of the early end in the French Cup and missing the title in the Champions League again. In the premier class, the Parisians bowed out in the round of 16 after two defeats against FC Bayern Munich.
Some candidates for Galtier’s successor are being traded in the French media, but Luis Enrique, who was replaced as Spain’s national coach after the World Cup in Qatar, has the best cards.
After Graham Potter left Chelsea, Enrique was also traded with the Blues, but both sides could not agree on a collaboration. Previously, the Spaniard was also under discussion as Brazil’s national coach.
