Al-Nassr FC’s Vincent Aboubakar has shared his personal take on the GOAT debate in football. For the Cameroonian, Lionel Messi is better than Cristiano Ronaldo.
“I’ve always thought that Messi is better than Ronaldo,” the Cameroonian striker told Turkey’s portal NTV Sport. “After training with Ronaldo, I realized I was right.”
Aboubakar is currently officially Ronaldo’s teammate at Al-Nassr, but due to a foreigner limit in the Saudi league, he is about to leave the Saudi club. Some media are even reporting that the contract between the two parties has already been terminated.
Ronaldo could make his debut for his new club on January 18 or 19 in a scheduled friendly match between a selection of Saudi giants Al-Hilal and Al-Nassr against Messi side Paris Saint-Germain.
Aboubakar, meanwhile, is said to have piqued the interest of Ronaldo’s ex-club Manchester United and his former employer Besiktas.
