Moroccan international Achraf Hakimi is being investigated for rape. A corresponding report in the French daily newspaper Le Parisien a source familiar with the matter confirmed to the news agency AFP.
Accordingly, a young woman is said to have stated that she was raped at the player’s house in a suburb of Paris. She did not file a complaint, but due to the seriousness of the allegation, the Nanterre public prosecutor’s office took action.
The full-back Hakimi, once a Bundesliga professional at Borussia Dortmund, has been playing for Bayern Munich’s Champions League opponent Paris St. Germain since 2021. With Morocco he sensationally reached the semi-finals at the World Cup in Qatar.
