In a few weeks the new Formula 1 season will finally start. As usual, this year’s World Championship will open at the Bahrain International Circuit in Sakhir, Bahrain. The first race weekend starts on March 3rd with the first free practice sessions.
But before any training can even be completed, there is another date on the F1 calendar: the winter test drives. As the name suggests, this event is all about testing and familiarizing the 20 pilots with the new cars. This test phase lasts a total of three days and is also completed in Sakhir.
It starts this Thursday, February 23rd. Tomorrow (February 24) and Saturday (February 25) there will also be test drives. On all three days, the journey begins at 8 a.m., after a lunch break at 12 p.m., the journeys continue in the afternoon.
